Responsibilities:

Main Missions:

Missions:

Ingénieur Calibration Moteur Thermique (Thermal Engine Calibration Engineer)
FEV North Africa is recruiting a Thermal Engine Calibration Engineer (Gasoline).
Responsibilities:
– Build the roadmap for the means and resources needed for gasoline engine calibration tests.
– Supervise the organization in terms of planning and instrumentation for these tests.
– Organize, define, validate, and carry out engine tuning operations while respecting performance, consumption, emissions, cold and hot start, comfort, noise, and brilliance performance goals.
– Be the technical reference and support for the gasoline engine calibration team.
Profile:
– Calibration Engineer with at least 3 years of expertise in gasoline engines.
– A B2 level of English enabling understanding of technical documentation and communication with international teams on technical subjects.
– Knowledge of engine calibration tuning tools (INCA, Uniplot, CRETA, Topexpert) would be ideal. Knowledge of VBA and Python scripting languages would be a plus.

Chargé(e) d’Essais (Test Engineer)
As a Test Bench Motor Engineer, your mission will be to:
– Ensure the test’s progress and provide regular updates to the client (daily and weekly reporting).
– Establish a daily and then a weekly status of the activities under your responsibility (average readings, production monitoring, etc.).
– Be responsible for transmitting test results to the client after analysis.
– Provide technical supervision to test technicians assigned to your tests.
– Report to the Technical Coordinator on the progress of the tests for updating the general test schedule.
– Ensure the production efficiency of the tests under your responsibility (resources allocated/planned resources).
– Ensure the quality of the tests under your responsibility (if necessary, develop corrective action plans).
– Prepare tests assigned to you in line with customer test requests.
– Validate the receipt and dispatch of engines and other products provided for tests under your responsibility.
– Identify the needs (personnel and equipment) for each test and inform the technical coordinator.
– Provide technical support to test technicians.
– Ensure the availability of consumables required for the tests under your responsibility.
– Manage non-conformities related to ongoing programs.
– Report any malfunctions in the facilities made available to you and propose improvement measures.
Your profile:
– Mechanical, mechatronic, or electromechanical engineer with preferably initial experience in commissioning and/or testing.
– Technical Skills/Professions: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access). Knowledge of mechanical components (thermal/electric/hybrid engines, gearbox).
– Mobility: Oued ZEM.
