A Responsible Group
Attijariwafa Bank Group has chosen five core values—leadership, commitment, solidarity, ethics, and citizenship—to unite its 20,125 employees. These values are also reflected in the Group’s commitment to civic actions through its Foundation.
By balancing profitability and social progress, our commitment reinforces the integration of corporate social responsibility principles in all of the Group’s operations.
Education Initiatives
Attijariwafa Bank Group supports the country’s development efforts by participating in the modernization of education. This includes renovating classrooms, providing equipment for school libraries at primary schools, middle schools, high schools, as well as preparatory classes and universities. In a similar spirit, the Foundation collaborates with Grupo Santander and supports the Morocco Entrepreneurship network to help young people realize their projects.
Cultural Engagement
The Foundation promotes contemporary art and the protection of heritage by promoting young artists and contributing to the enhancement of collections, restoration, and the acquisition of artworks.
The Human Capital Group
The Human Capital Group, a full-fledged strategic partner, contributes to the overall performance of Attijariwafa Bank Group through investments in human resources. These actions aim to enhance individual and collective performance, aligning with the Group’s growth objectives at the national and international levels.
The development of an efficient information system, compliant with international standards and encompassing all aspects of the Human Capital Group, has optimized operational methods.
Through innovative tools and mechanisms, the Human Capital Group aims to identify talents and potential in the job market and recruit them, assess the skills and performance of each employee, and support them throughout their careers.
This translates into the implementation of appropriate training programs tailored to specific job requirements, the development of Human Resources Planning (HRP) policies, talent forecasting, and succession planning.
Attracting and retaining talents, providing prospects, and strengthening motivation require actions at multiple levels:
– Targeting schools and universities as sources of talent.
– Offering internships and partnering with Moroccan universities.
– Diversifying the range of behavioral and managerial training.
– Providing attractive career prospects.
– Developing performance management and recognition.
– Promoting internal promotion.
– Contributing to conveying an image of a civic bank.
Regarding the social aspect, the medical coverage and welfare schemes in place provide employees with comprehensive and high-quality protection. The health and safety policy addresses everyone, thanks to the regionalization of medical and social activities, employee awareness campaigns, and recommendations from the Hygiene and Safety Committee.
